Fred Matser’s book Rediscover Your Heart: 7 Keys for Personal and Planetary Transformation (Findhorn Press, UK 2008, 2009) was launched in New York, USA in 2008 and London, UK in 2009.  At each event Rediscover Your Heart Awards with cash amounts have been awarded to young people, and organisations working with young people, with innovative and heartfelt projects designed to inspire and to contribute towards a more functional and peaceful society.

Now the awards are moving to the Russian Federation and will be awarded in Moscow in 2010 in conjunction with the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation and in honour of the dedicated charitable work of Raisa Gorbachev, the late wife of Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev. Read the press release here.

To apply for one of the Russian Rediscover Your Heart Awards please complete an Application Form in Russian or English before 31st January 2010 (note applications may be closed before this date once 100 applications are received).

Please ensure that you check that your application fulfills the award criteria, which are based on the key principles outlined in the book.

Fred Matser, the author and Award sponsor, is a Dutch humanitarian, philanthropist and businessman who has dedicated his life towards helping create a more functional society through inspiration and empowerment.

U.S. Launch 2008
The U.S. hardback edition of the book was launched in New York City in July 2008.  At that event 12 inspiring and aspiring individuals and groups each received Rediscover Your Heart Awards of $2,500. The US Awards were offered by The Fred Foundation, in collaboration with the Global Youth Action Network and Chat the Planet.

U.K. Launch 2009
The U.K. paperback edition of the book was launched in London in April 2009.  This time 20 inspiring young people and groups received Rediscover Your Heart Awards of £1,000. The Awards were coordinated together with the UK youth-led charity Peace Child International and were made by The Fred Foundation. Two were sponsored by: The Angel Foundation and BioCare.
